At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney revealed details of two high-energy Cars-themed rides coming to Piston Peak National Park in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. Michael Hundgen, Vice President Creative for Walt Disney World, and Imagineer Jason Grandt shared exciting updates about the new attractions.

Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along

Making its debut, Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along is a thrilling new attraction inspired by the 'Diva of Demolition' from Cars 3. The ride features a massive school-bus-sized animatronic of Miss Fritter, hosting a wild demolition derby with a stampeding party.

Cars Ridge Run Rally

Jason Grandt introduced Cars Ridge Run Rally, an off-road racing attraction where guests compete for the 'fastest lap in the west' through rugged terrains inspired by America's national parks. The ride includes a climb up Piston Peak's snowy summit, a descent over camelback hills, and navigation through a geyser field, ending with a live race broadcast by Lightning McQueen and Mater.

The Cars Ridge Run Rally ride will introduce a revolutionary vehicle designed to truly drive over and react to the off-road terrain, allowing guests to feel every bump and rock. Construction is progressing rapidly, promising an unprecedented racing experience.

Piston Peak National Park builds on the rich storytelling tradition of Frontierland, creating a stunning wilderness filled with towering trees, snowcapped mountains, dramatic waterfalls, and geysers, all within the Cars universe.

The park will feature natural landscaping and architecture inspired by the National Park Service's 'Parkitecture' style to harmonize with its surroundings while incorporating visitor lodges, ranger HQ, trails, and more. This immersive environment links seamlessly with the iconic landscapes and stories from Liberty Square and Frontierland.

Guests can anticipate new adventures just beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, including a villain-themed land with attractions, dining, and shopping, continuing the expansion of themed storytelling at Magic Kingdom.
