Rock Around the Holidays with The Electric Mayhem at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The holiday season at Disney’s Hollywood Studios gets louder with The Electric Mayhem’s festive spin on Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster. The limited-time ‘Obligatory Holiday Overlay’ turns the concert into a celebration full of seasonal music and surprises.

The celebration begins outside G-Force Records with festive music around the iconic guitar marquee, setting the mood for the holiday concert that only The Electric Mayhem could deliver.

Inside the studio, Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips rehearse their holiday show as familiar Muppets friends drop by to lend a hand, creating fun and unexpected backstage moments.

The holiday preparations are lively and unpredictable, fitting The Electric Mayhem’s style. The attraction features the first ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter, created with motion-capture technology to perfectly mimic his looks and movements.

Scooter, assisted by penguin audio engineers, tries to motivate The Electric Mayhem to finish rehearsing and get to the show on time. Guests board the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.) vehicle behind Studio C for the super-powered ride experience.

The holiday concert features four new seasonal tracks with special guest collaborations. Songs include ‘Holiday Road’ with Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear, ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)’ with Jennifer Hudson, and ‘Silver Bells’ featuring Cyndi Lauper.

Each holiday tune mixes cheerful sentiment, high-energy rock riffs, and great attitude, creating a festive concert atmosphere to rock the coaster track during the season.
