Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will reopen on May 26, 2026, with a new story that places guests in the center of The Electric Mayhem’s biggest night. The reimagined attraction features high-speed thrills, a new pulse-pounding soundtrack, and a VIP experience like no other.

The exciting concert event stars Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips, who are ready to rock the house but are initially nowhere to be found. The adventure begins inside G-Force Records, a rock-and-roll recording studio filled with the magic and mayhem of the music world.

The iconic guitar marquee in the courtyard now sports a vibrant, psychedelic design inspired by The Electric Mayhem, featuring a piano motif with a golden key nodding to the band leader. G-Force Records has new ownership, with the label under the real estate tycoon J.P. Grosse, owner of the Muppet Theatre.

The queue walls are decorated with posters showcasing the Electric Mayhem's larger-than-life career, providing groovy photo backgrounds and immersive storytelling throughout the experience.

Guests can expect to spot celebrity cameos throughout the attraction, including Awkwafina, Danny Trejo, Darren Criss, John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris, Travis Barker, Yvette Nicole Brown, Wayne Brady, and “Weird Al” Yankovic among others.

Guests begin their VIP experience inside G-Force Records, where the Electric Mayhem rehearses 'Can You Picture That?' Scooter makes an appearance as the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure, alongside penguin audio engineers working to get the band ready for their concert.

The ride vehicles, called the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.), take guests on a high-speed journey from the recording studio to the concert stage, supported by new technological achievements from Muppets Labs.

The set list features a mix of tracks from The Electric Mayhem and collaborations with famous artists, creating an intense, adrenaline-fueled soundtrack from start to finish. The songs include 'Song 2' by The Electric Mayhem, 'Born To Be Wild' featuring Camilla the Chicken, 'Love Rollercoaster' with Jennifer Hudson & Questlove, 'Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)' with Def Leppard, and 'Walking on Sunshine' featuring Kelly Clarkson.

Near the ride exit, the FØØD by Swedish Chef eatery is receiving a refreshed look and an updated menu with new snacks and drinks inspired by the ride’s music and theme, giving guests a place to continue the fun after the concert experience.

With the reopening set for May 26, 2026, excitement is building as The Electric Mayhem prepares to turn their rehearsal into a headline act, promising additional surprises for cast members, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Annual Passholders in the near future.
