Oogie Boogie Bash 2025: Everything You Need to Know

On select nights from August 17 through October 31, 2025, the separately ticketed, after-hours Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park offers five thrilling hours of Halloween experiences starting at 6:00 p.m. Guests can arrive as early as 3:00 p.m. with their event tickets to enjoy regular park offerings before the party begins.

Tickets include unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the party, accessible via QR code scanning on the event wristband through the Disneyland app. Guests also receive a beautifully designed commemorative event guide map to enhance their experience and keep as a collectible.

Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in costume to embrace the Halloween spirit. Those seeking full glam can visit Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for makeup and hair stylings inspired by Disney characters. Alternatively, themed shirts and sweaters, including Mickey Mouse Family Halloween and The Haunted Mansion collections, are great options. Packing a sweater and wearing comfortable shoes is recommended for cooler evenings.

During the party, guests can collect candy and treats at 12 themed treat trails featuring popular brands like M&M’S, SKITTLES, and SNICKERS while encountering Disney villains and misfit characters. Cast members offer allergy-friendly and no-sugar-added alternatives. In addition, guests can meet Disney characters dressed in exclusive Halloween attire along with some rare appearances.

“Frightfully Fun Parade”

The “Frightfully Fun Parade” is scheduled twice nightly at 7:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Featuring characters such as the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and haunts from the Haunted Mansion, it is a unique spectacle exclusive to Oogie Boogie Bash.

For an additional fee, guests can attend the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party, which offers preferred parade seating, delicious themed treats like freeze-dried fruit with gummy worms and cupcakes, complimentary beverages, and a collectible enamel pin. Advanced reservations are highly recommended for this experience.

Villains Grove at Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park

Villains Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail offers an eerie immersive walkthrough featuring scenic displays inspired by Disney Villains such as Dr. Facilier, Frollo, and Scar. The area combines mystical lights, sights, and sounds creating a darkly enchanting atmosphere.

Guests attending the party benefit from shorter wait times on select popular rides like Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark!, Toy Story Midway Mania!, and Incredicoaster. These are great opportunities to enjoy favorite attractions with less waiting.

Carolina Loaded Tenders at Oogie Boogie Bash

Before the official party start, guests can enjoy seasonal food and drinks at regular park dining locations from August 22, with highlights including pumpkin pie churros and achiote half-chicken dishes. Specific savory bites for the party include Loaded Buffalo Chicken Fries and Carolina Loaded Tenders at Flo’s V8 Cafe, Chili-Cheese Fries at Award Wieners, and a Ube Hot Chocolate with Vanilla Vodka at Cozy Cone Motel.

Guests can take advantage of the Disneyland app to place mobile food and beverage orders for party-specific menu items or join mobile walk-up lists at select table-service restaurants, subject to availability.

A new collectible beverage vessel, the Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Mayor Sipper, is available at numerous locations across the park including Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta, Chiller at Paradise Gardens Park, Corn Dog Castle, Fairfax Market, Mortimers Market, Paradise Garden Grill, Smokejumpers Grill, and select vending carts, while supplies last.

Exclusive Oogie Boogie Bash merchandise is available at Elias & Co., Gone Hollywood, and Seaside Souvenirs stores. Featured items include themed crossbody bags, Minnie Mouse ear headbands, and Spirit Jerseys, all available while supplies last.

Guests should note that park offerings, attractions, entertainment, and services may be modified, limited, or unavailable and are subject to cancellation or change without notice.
