Check In & Check It Out: New Rooms and Lobby at Pop Century Resort
Published on Mar 16, 2026 by Will
Disney’s Pop Century Resort instantly delivers cheer with bold colors, playful details, and nostalgic nods to past decades, creating joy for guests of all ages. Recent updates to the lobby, Petals Pool Bar, and guest rooms have increased brightness and vibrancy throughout the resort.
The newly reimagined lobby shines with energy and brightness, featuring vibrant floor-to-ceiling artwork inspired by pop culture from the 1950s to 1990s and illustrations of Disney’s Fab Five. Bold patterns, like the retro TV wall, create a fun, nostalgic backdrop. The lobby was reconfigured to add more seating, including communal tables, making it more open, comfortable, and functional for today’s guests.
Cast members ensure guests feel welcomed and supported from check-in onward, helping make the arrival process smooth and enjoyable. The welcoming service is as important to the new lobby’s atmosphere as the design itself.
Petals Pool Bar, located near the Hippy Dippy Pool, has been refreshed with new finishes, tile textures, and clear digital menu boards, enhancing guest comfort and ease of ordering. The bar’s vibrant flower décor and attentive cast members make it a perfect spot for a mid-day cooling break.
The refreshed guest rooms offer a bright, comfortable space inspired by decades past with a modern twist. They feature warm wood-toned flooring, geometric rugs with pops of blue, gray, green, and orange, along with soft sky-blue accents. Details such as Hidden Mickeys on the chair fabric add subtle Disney magic while maintaining a clean and functional environment.
These enhancements complement prior updates to Everything POP Shopping & Dining, which include refreshed dining and shopping areas and a new coffee shop, providing guests even more reasons to enjoy their stay.
Staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort offers convenient access to the Disney Skyliner, simplifying travel to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests benefit from services like early theme park entry and the Airport Luggage Transfer pilot program, which allows eligible guests to transfer luggage to and from Orlando International Airport with participating airlines. Throughout the resort, cast members provide helpful support to ensure guests’ vacation days run smoothly.
Whether spending the day at the parks or relaxing by the pool, guests will find the refreshed spaces full of personality, comfort, and signature Disney service, making their stays even more magical.
