Go Un Poco Loco for New Coco Ride Details Announced at D23 2026

Work is underway on an all-new Coco attraction coming to Disneyland Resort. The announcement was made during D23 2026 following a live performance by Grammy-winning artists Los Lobos. Disney Imagineers revealed this will be the first Coco ride at any Disney park, showcasing characters like Miguel, Dante, and Héctor as guests experience Miguel’s unforgettable trip to the Land of the Dead.

The attraction connects with the upcoming Pixar film Coco 2, which is in development, with Imagineers collaborating closely with Pixar to ensure the ride honors both films. Guests will enjoy a family-friendly experience, with no height requirement, celebrating Mexican culture, music, and the theme of family love passed down through generations.

Located near Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier, the queue begins next to Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind and welcomes visitors to a "casa museo" dedicated to the music of Miguel’s great-great grandfather, Héctor Rivera. From there, guests will board a boat to travel through Miguel’s memories of the Land of the Dead, featuring cutting-edge Audio-Animatronics technology inspired by classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.

The ride offers a beautiful, emotional journey full of fun and surprises that immerse guests in the music and story of Coco, making it an attraction the whole family can enjoy.
