Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed holiday event at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Guests enjoy a storybook atmosphere filled with festive entertainment, holiday-themed overlays on classic rides, exclusive character greetings, and seasonal treats.

The 2026 event will take place on select nights from Sunday, November 8 through Tuesday, December 22. Guests attending the party can enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00 p.m., even though the party officially begins at 7:00 p.m., allowing for an early start to the holiday fun.

Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party go on sale starting July 9 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. All other guests can purchase tickets beginning July 16. Special pricing is available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

Guests can meet beloved Disney characters dressed in holiday attire at special locations such as Princess Fairytale Hall, where Anna and Elsa greet guests, and Town Square Theater, featuring Jack Skellington as Santa, Sally, Mickey, and Minnie Mouse in festive outfits. Santa Claus also appears at Santa’s Christmas Carnival in Storybook Circus, offering young families a chance to meet him and enjoy seasonal crafts.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade features dancing gingerbread men, ballroom dancers, marching toy soldiers, and Disney characters in holiday costumes. Santa Claus makes a special appearance at the parade's end, spreading holiday cheer throughout the park. The park also hosts Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks hosted by Minnie Mouse, showcasing holiday projections on Cinderella Castle paired with music and pyrotechnics. Guests can enhance their experience with separately priced dessert parties offering exclusive treats and prime viewing.

The Frozen Holiday Surprise transforms Cinderella Castle into a winter wonderland with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowgies. Holiday-themed dance parties and DJs set the mood for guests to celebrate throughout the park. Several favorite rides receive holiday makeovers including Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, Jungle Cruise, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. Classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin remain open.

Exclusive merchandise will be available at the Emporium during the party to help guests bring home the holiday spirit. Additionally, complimentary cookies, festive beverages, and other treats are offered at select locations throughout Magic Kingdom, included with the price of admission. Detailed maps indicating treat locations will be provided at the park entrance and via the My Disney Experience App.
