Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar: Frightful First Look

Published on Aug 19, 2025 by Will
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs has received a spooky transformation featuring ghostly Halloween decorations paired with eerie eats and sinister drinks, creating the perfect setting for Halloween treats now through Nov. 4.
New Halloween Hangar Bar Decor
For the first time, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is adorned with Halloween-themed decorations from Jock’s own Halloween collection, offering a charming and spooky atmosphere distinct from its Holiday Hangar Bar Christmas festivities.
Guests are greeted at the entrance by pumpkin scarecrows, including one flying an airplane, mimicking Jock Lindsey but with a Halloween twist.
The bar is transformed into a warm and inviting Halloween retreat blending vintage lantern lighting with playful, charming touches that evoke a nostalgic Halloween party feel where every corner invites discovery.
Diners in the diving bell section are joined by a patch of flickering Jack-O’-lanterns hanging above, adding to the cozy Halloween ambiance.
A vintage Beistle-style black cat decoration band keeps watch in a far corner of the bar, their mischievous eyes observing guests as they enjoy their themed cocktails.
The Halloween decor complements Jock Lindsey’s collection of pilot memorabilia including a weathered “Bigelow’s Air Circus” banner, a reference to the 1991 Disney film The Rocketeer.
Additional decorations include retro blow molds with expressive faces and festive tinsel garland zigzagging in front of treasures like a banner commemorating Jock’s win in the National Air Races.
Jock’s pet boa constrictor Reggie is notably missing, leaving guests to imagine him slinking past glowing ghost and pumpkin decorations that enhance the atmospheric charm.
Halloween Hangar Bar Bites
The 1940s Halloween decor provides the setting for nine new exclusive Halloween-themed drinks and snacks at the Hangar Bar, including Alien Invader Sliders, Phantom Dumplings, The Spike Trap, and Cauldron Cooler.
Full details of the Halloween Hangar Bar menu are featured in the 2025 Halloween Foodie Guide.
Who is Jock Lindsey?
Jock Lindsey is Indiana Jones’ adventurous pilot who arrived in Disney Springs in 1938. Captivated by the natural springs, he made the area his home, building an airplane hangar that eventually became the Hangar Bar.
The bar is filled with artifacts and references to the Indiana Jones stories and the broader Society of Explorers and Adventurers universe, suggesting Jock’s close ties or membership in the society, making it a hub for adventurers.
Guests can extend their Halloween celebrations at Disney Springs by exploring shops with superhero costumes, enjoying seasonal live music, and sampling various Halloween-inspired treats. The Halloween Hangar Bar is just the starting point for an evening of festive fun.
