Hoppers at Disney California Adventure: Exploring the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

Disney and Pixar’s Hoppers has inspired a playful wilderness adventure at Disney California Adventure’s Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. For a limited time, guests of all ages can join Mabel’s Seek & Find activity, exploring, climbing, and swinging through challenges that bring the spirit of the film to life.

Guests start their adventure by selecting one of four character maps featuring King George, Insect Queen, Ellen Bear, or Tom Lizard. Each map guides them through multiple challenges such as finding the temperature at the Weather Station, turning a dial to bring animals back, and spotting the Reptile Queens. Upon completing the tasks, guests exchange their pencil for a Hoppers-themed sticker prize.

The Tom Lizard-themed map offers additional fun, including seeking another lizard along the trail and unlocking a secret message using a decoder key found near the Mt. Whitney Lookout. Cast members assist guests in this area, adding lively interaction to the peaceful trail atmosphere.

The final challenge leads to the beaver dam near the Ahwahnee Camp Circle, where a figure of Mabel, a main character from the film, sits atop the dam. This marks a picturesque end to the adventure, where guests can take photos and enjoy the tranquil setting before returning to the entrance to receive their stickers.
