Welcome Home to the Island Tower Expansion!

Island Tower addition at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

The new Island Tower addition at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows opens December 17 along the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon. It celebrates the Polynesian Islands' vibrant spirit, natural elements, and Moana as a wayfinder.

With over 260 beautifully designed rooms, stunning interiors, and new amenities, this waterfront expansion becomes a new home for Disney Vacation Club members and guests to create lasting vacation memories.

This expansion is among more than 25 Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort, offering unique accommodations, spectacular views, and immersive experiences.

Vibrant Villas for Families of Different Sizes with Breathtaking Views

Traveling with a small group? Guests can enjoy a cozy duo studio for two or a deluxe studio that sleeps up to four.

For spacious comfort, one- and two-bedroom villas sleep five and nine respectively, offering full kitchens, living areas, outdoor patios, and washer and dryer facilities.

The Island Tower debuts stunning two-bedroom penthouse villas that accommodate up to eight guests. These feature spacious living and dining rooms along with spectacular views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom or Disney’s golf courses.

Escape in the Terrace Gardens

Relax in four tropical garden hideaways inspired by the beauty of the Polynesian Islands, exclusive to tower guests. Two gardens offer views of Magic Kingdom fireworks, while the other two showcase sunsets over Disney’s golf courses.

Finding the Way…to More Play

The Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is beloved for its proximity to Magic Kingdom, whimsical pools, popular restaurants, and DOLE Whip offerings. The new tower adds a zero-entry Cove Pool and 'Moana’s Voyage,' a splash area featuring life-size sculptures of Moana and her iconic canoe.

This expansion also introduces the resort’s first and only fitness center, enhancing the recreation activities available for guests and members.

For dining, the new Wailulu Bar & Grill offers a casual and flavorful experience inspired by Polynesian island flavors with signature dishes like spiced ham musubi and beef short rib loco moco.

Wailulu Bar & Grill offers breathtaking lagoon views and is a great spot to watch Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Approximately 1,600 resort cast members, including some who began working at the Polynesian in the 1970s, are ready to welcome guests beginning December 17.

With many new and upcoming experiences at Walt Disney World, the Island Tower expansion is a fantastic option for families visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth.
