All the 2025 Halloween Characters to Spot at Disneyland

Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia at Disneyland Resort bring festive fall sights, sounds, and flavors from August 22 through October 31, 2025. Guests can enjoy Halloween-themed treats, attractions, and a variety of character encounters across the resort.

Disney characters across the resort will don new Halloween-themed attire. In California Adventure park, Mickey Mouse and friends dress in costumes like magician, flapper, devil, witch, and scarecrow. Pixar’s Coco characters, including a hand-animated figure of Miguel, appear during the Plaza de la Familia celebration.

Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure park features festive decor and music. Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy wear Halloween costumes while greeting guests near Elias & Co. Characters include Mickey as a magician, Minnie in a flapper dress, Donald as a devil, Daisy as a witch, and Goofy as a scarecrow.

Catch These Halloween Characters in Cars Land

Radiator Screams in Cars Land is decorated with colorful lights and seasonal decor including Haul-O-Ween overlays on rides. Guests can find Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, and Red the Firetruck dressed in creative Halloween car-themed costumes while enjoying seasonal treats.

Party with Characters at “Mickey’s Trick and Treat”

At Hollywood Land’s Disney Theater, “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” offers a lighthearted costume party show featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. This interactive stage show includes original Halloween songs, colorful video projections, special effects, and bubbles.

Sing with Characters During Plaza de la Familia

Inspired by Día de los Muertos, Plaza de la Familia at Paradise Gardens Park features live entertainment by “The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!” This joyous show runs from August 22 through November 2 and includes dancing, singing, and a hand-animated figure of Miguel along with other characters from Coco.

Greet Characters at Disneyland During Halloween Time

In Disneyland park, Mickey, Minnie, and friends wear new Halloween-themed attire inspired by swirling purple, green, and orange colors from the 70th Celebration outfits. They appear mainly in Town Square with characters including Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Clarabelle Cow, and Chip ‘n’ Dale.

In New Orleans Square, Jack Skellington can be found greeting guests in the Royal Courtyard. Additional characters appearing throughout the park include Gaston, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella.

Find Characters at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort

Halloween festivities extend beyond the parks to the Disneyland Resort hotels. At Disneyland Hotel, “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween” offers character dining with Goofy, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, and Chip ‘n’ Dale dressed in Halloween costumes from August 22 to October 31.

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, “Mickey’s Autumn Adventures” runs at Storytellers Cafe from August 22 through November 16. Guests can meet Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale in festive fall attire while enjoying breakfast specialties.

A new character dining experience, “Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner,” runs from August 22 through October 31 at Storytellers Cafe. Woodland pals including Clarabelle Cow, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto visit guests for a magical dinner.

Advanced reservations for character dining are recommended and available on Disneyland.com.

Besides character appearances, Disneyland Resort offers Halloween ride overlays such as Haunted Mansion Holiday, themed merchandise, limited-time snacks, and returning fan-favorite treats through October 31.

For the Oogie Boogie Bash event, guests can expect appearances from characters like Syndrome and Maleficent. Guests are encouraged to prepare costumes and trick-or-treat bags for this special Halloween celebration.
